Shipping & Returns


Fedex shipping will take 1-5 days. All orders considered standard freight or ground. Shipping in lower 48 states only. Note: Fed Ex does not deliver to P.O. boxes or APO's.


  • Free Ground shipping on orders over $75, except any marine electronics.
  • Offer valid in the contiguous U.S. Only.
  • Does not include Saturday delivery.
  • Offer not retroactive on prior purchases.

Palmetto Outdoorsman is happy to offer our customers either 2 day or overnight shipping services for an additional fee. Please be advised when choosing Fed Ex Express Services as a shipping option, Fed Ex may require a signature in order to deliver to a residence or a business. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign for the package, Fed Ex will not deliver. We strongly encourage that if you choose Fed Ex Express Services as an option, that someone be available to receive the package. Palmetto Outdoorsman will not be responsible for reimbursement of shipping charges if no one is available to receive the package.

Please call 843-870-8456 or e-mail if you think you may be placing an order that could incur a shipping charge. We will confirm if your order does need a freight charge and can supply you with a shipping cost for your purchase at that time. 



Due to dimension and weight limitations assessed by our chosen carriers, very heavy packages or packages with large dimensions may be subject to additional handling surcharges. Fishing rods with a sales price of less than $100 will incur an additional shipping charge. Extremely large or heavy packages that incur an additional handling fee from our chosen carrier may also incur an additional shipping fee.


How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase. 

1. Please email to request a refund and we will assign you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
2. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt. 

Return Exceptions

Some items can not be returned if they are opened. 

Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. 

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order. 


If your clothing item is in like new condition, you may exchange your clothing item for a different size or color. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping.  



All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers. 

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to. 


Backordered Items


After your initial shipment of in stock items are sent, all remaining back ordered items are shipped free of charge. If all items are out of stock when you submit your order, you are responsible for the initial shipping charge. If we receive a portion of the order we will ship those items at the original cost of shipping and the remaining back ordered items will ship at no cost to you. The method of shipping will depend on the best option available. Back ordered items will ship either First Class Mail or UPS Ground. If you would like your back ordered items to be sent out using a specific shipping method you will need to contact us at 843-870-8456 or You will be charged for the cost of shipping your back ordered items if any other method is chosen. Typically, back ordered items, if not sent out the same day, will go out the following day. Travel time will depend on your location within the continental US. Please be advised, unless otherwise notified all back ordered items will be sent via First Class Mail or UPS Ground.
